Medicine Hat Legal Help Centre provides free legal information and advice to low to moderate income people who have a legal issue but do not qualify for Legal Aid.

Call us for help with any of these legal issues:

  • Family law, including separation and divorce, child custody, child support, and more
  • Employment issues
  • Debt and foreclosure
  • Estate administration
  • Estate/life planning
  • Immigration issues
  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Civil matters

Medicine Hat Legal Help Centre is supporting community members with their legal needs in Medicine Hat, Brooks and the surrounding areas of Southeastern Alberta. Medicine Hat Legal Help Centre is a joint initiative between Bridges Family Programs and Calgary Legal Guidance.  Medicine Hat Legal Help Centre is one of the six legal clinics in Alberta that are available to provide legal help. The other clinics are located in: Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, Lethbridge and Grande Prairie.
